ABOUT Jean Paul
Jean Paul Vizuete is a Panamanian writer and filmmaker, specialized in the genres of fantasy and science fiction.
He began his filmmaking career during adolescence in Panama. That same year, he adapted the Argentine musical "Mamá está más chiquita" for Panamanian audiences, garnering 4 nominations at the Escena Awards, including Best Musical. With extensive experience in film and literature, he has conducted workshops on narrative structure and writing in the fantasy genre as an independent instructor and for the Panamanian Chamber of Books. In 2022, he released his second book, "La Mensajera," during the Panama International Book Fair. He currently resides in Canada, where he works as a screenwriter and script consultant while continuing to develop his future projects, including his next novel, "La Ladrona de Luces." |
